BUILDING YOUR SKILLS
IMPACTS GENERATIONS

When you expand your skill set, the ripples of that decision grows beyond these walls and can be the beginning of a whole new trajectory for a single student. Building your skills can be a positive, lasting change for an entire family's future. A foundation of knowledge can be used to build upon, can be a new way of doing things, create a new perspective, and open doors to better opportunity.

Building skills begins with YOU!

MWI Workforce Institute &

M.E.N.S. Wear, Inc.

Originally founded as M.E.N.S. Wear, Inc. (Making Employment the Next Step) in 2004, our Georgia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit began with a clear mission: to serve as a resource and training center for youth and adults males seeking to build brighter futures.  Over the past 20 years, we’ve proudly provided employability skills training and professional interview attire to more than 3,200 young men and adult males across metro Atlanta.

Recognizing the urgent need to prepare individuals for high-demand, skills-based careers in the 21st-century workforce, we rebranded in 2022 and now operate as the MWI Workforce Institute. This evolution reflects our expanded vision — to deliver scalable, impactful training that empowers individuals, strengthens families, and uplifts communities locally, regionally, and nationally.

As part of this expanded mission, MWI now offers registered apprenticeship programs and Adult Ed/GED preparation services, providing participants with both academic and hands-on career development pathways. These programs are designed to remove barriers to employment, support lifelong learning, and connect individuals to sustainable career opportunities in high-demand industries.
